The most important thing to take away from this post is to listen to your hair & understand what it wants. You might have heard this before, but do you know what this really means? Basically our hair is so unique to us, what works for one person might not work for another due to your unique hair type.
To better treat and nourish your hair and reach your hair goals you must first know your porosity and your hair type. Through that you will be able to get a better idea of how to treat and take care of your hair. I'm hoping that you will be able to learn something new and start finding a regimen system that helps flourish your locks!
Check out the easy chart down below to better understand the three hair porosities.

My Hair Journey – My Hair Story + Hair Regimen Guide

Picture
My hair has went through some abuse throughout the years and I am so lucky that I was able to retain length. Before transitioning to healthy natural hair; my hair was always extremely dry, frizzy, fine, shaggy with thinning ends. I would constantly have split ends and I would never trim. My scalp would get itchy and uncomfortable as well, mostly from the over use of dry shampoos and toxic hair products I would use.
~

So I’m here to give you my top tips and learning tools that have helped me tremendously in keeping my hair healthy while retaining length.
Below is a guide that would help anyone either transitioning or interested in enhancing their hair care regimen. Also, if your interested in learning how to build a hair regimen check out the hair course I created in collaboration with Henna Sooq! The course goes hand in hand with their product bundle for the course. Click here to check out the course!

I have always had long hair, I know for many people that is goals right there; I just recently learned how to care for my hair. Length doesn’t necessarily mean "health", I had to learn that the hard way.
