Homemade Hair Masks and Face Masks DIY

Picture
We are having so much fun taking care of our hair and skin!

Whoever said healthy can't be fun?

You can make these masks with products already in your kitchen!

Have fun and get creative!

Hair Mask Recipe

Directions

Sister showed me an amazing hair mask
Recipe for you and your bestie
- 1 Can 🥥 milk
- 1 large Ripe 🥑
- 1 Tbsp Raw honey
- 4-5 drops Rosemary essential oil
- 3 drops White Thyme
- 2 Tbsp 🥑oil
- 1 egg yolk (optional)

Adjust according to short hair or long hair. This recipe is for two servings and for long hair.
We blended the mixture with an immersion blender and then generously applied it all over our hair and making sure to really get our ends. Don’t forget to massage goopy mixture into your scalp. This is great scalp treatment! Afterwards we put a shower cap on (this is very messy)
We left it on for 45 minutes and then washed out
Since My hair is thinner than @holistichabits hahah to say the least, I had to shampoo twice  and use ACV to really make sure I don’t end up with the goop still in my hair
I noticed a huge difference in my hair after this!!! I want to do this every week or every two weeks!

Time for the face mask recipe

Super easy everyday ingredients and you can opt for raw honey instead of Manuka if you dont have it in your kitchen
1 Tbsp - Manuka Honey
Splash - Rose water (opt for witch hazel)
1 tsp - Bentonite clay
1 tsp - Ceylon Cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together until desired consistency. Use only ceramic, glass or plastic to mix when mixing the clay. you can leave on for as long as you want but at least for 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure to use a moisturizer or oil after you rinse off.

Oh wow that is so cool! What ingredients do you add into yours? Sarah and I found some overly ripe avocados and decided why not make a hair mask (: My hair feels super nice I need to make it part of my weekly routine!

Thank you so much for your compliment (:
